the weeks gone by...

Well a few weeks have past and lots has happened. My eyes have been open and shut to ideas, perspectives and life chapters. The new year was brought in with a wonderful week adventure in the interesting and unpredictable adventures of Woodford Folk Festival. A fantastic gathering of individuals, friends, family from all walks of life was a precious experiences and opportunity to be apart of. Throughout the week I met and talked to people who were kind enough to tell me about themselves and I was able to gather a broader understanding of others and what is important to them is not always what is important to me, but still holds a strong place in a community of people. The culture aspect led by the fantastic and eclectic collection of music, food, art, dance and more was a breath of fresh air from the hectic lifestyle of work and obligation. As the week drew to a close the memories were cherished and motivation to make a difference remained and was taken home to build on throughout the year.
The following weeks have allowed for much thinking and plenty of drinking which has resulted in some memorable moments. At the top of the list would the chance to tattoo a mate. To leave an imprint on someone forever is a strong and rewarding experience, only if it was small. The surf has also been alright, and surfing and summer and pretty girls are enough to brighten any week.
The coming days also hold surprises, big day out, put put, and more beach action.
